The University of Florida's Young Alumni Program was established to identify the needs of Alumni under 35 years old. Our mission is to strengthen the Young Alumni connection to the Gator Nation and dedicate programs that will be of interest to young alumni, such as social activities and career networking. The Windy City Gator Club® Young Alumni group has grown tremendously over the past year, and we continue to strive to offer events that will strengthen the bonds between young alumni living in Chicago. Besides hosting a wide array of events and outings, we also host regular Happy Hours in various locations throughout Chicago. All alumni and friends under 35 are invited to participate.

The Young Alumni Committee is responsible for creating programming for alumni that are 35 years and younger. This committee works to offer a greater variety of activities to young alumni, raise awareness about the UF Alumni Association and increase this group’s participation within the Gator Nation. The goal for this committee is to plan one young alumni event per quarter. There will be one committee meeting per quarter for planning purposes.

Each year the Windy City Gator Club travels to Galena, IL for a weekend of snowboarding and skiing! This years trip will take place from Friday, January 21st through Sunday, January 23rd. The weekend includes lift pass and ski-in/ski-out accomodations. For more information, contact James Kolstad at
